General Terms and Conditions for Event Bookings
BASICS
These general terms and conditions (GTC) govern the legal relationship between the guest/customer/organizer, hereinafter referred to as the guest, and Achesa Lifestyle AG as the operator of Pizzeria Giardino. For simplicity, these GTC always refer to a contract, regardless of the service involved. Should individual provisions of these GTC be or become invalid or void, this shall not affect the validity of the contract and the remaining GTC provisions. Otherwise, the statutory provisions shall apply.
RESERVATION
The reservation agreement and any changes regarding the services become binding as soon as they are confirmed by the restaurant and confirmed in writing by the client.
NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS
Please inform us of the final number of participants no later than two days before the event. This number will then be invoiced. The restaurant reserves the right to charge a no-show fee for fewer participants than definitively reserved.
OFFER
Our menu suggestions are valid for groups of 10 or more. If you don’t find something suitable in our menu suggestions, we are happy to accommodate your preferences.
DECORATION
Table decorations such as flowers, candles, menu cards, etc., are not included in our menu prices. Upon request, we are happy to organize suitable decoration for your event.
PAYMENT TERMS AND PRICES
a) All prices are in Swiss Francs and include service and VAT. The restaurant bills in Swiss Francs. Prices in Euros are approximate and will be calculated at the daily exchange rate.
b) The restaurant reserves the right to request a deposit for certain orders over CHF 1,000.00. The reservation will only be confirmed upon receipt of this deposit. In case of cancellation of the event within the chargeable cancellation period, the deposit will not be refunded. For invoices to be sent abroad, the restaurant may invoice the confirmed services in advance at 100% (prepayment 7 days before arrival) or charge a valid credit card.
c) Invoices are to be settled within 20 days from the invoice date. No discounts or rebates are granted. If individual services are to be paid for by the participants themselves, the restaurant collects the service consumed on-site. If this is not possible, the organizer is obliged to cover the costs, provided that they cannot provide a valid billing address for the participants.
LIABILITY
The organizer is liable to the restaurant for damages to the furnishings or inventory and for losses caused by the organizer, their assistants, or participants. To prevent damages, the placement of decoration material and other items must always be coordinated with the restaurant.
In any case, the organizer must ensure that the materials comply with fire safety requirements. The restaurant disclaims any responsibility for theft and damage to personal belongings, clothing, and materials brought in.
LAW AND JURISDICTION
Swiss law shall exclusively apply. The place of jurisdiction for any disputes shall be Kloten/ZH.
